About Angie

Sweet Bee'z is the vision of baker/owner, Angie Banez. Angie has always had a love of sweets, both eating and baking. Being the daughter of a caterer, Angie was introduced to the kitchen at a young age and was baking on her own since age 8. 

When Angie fell sick in 2000, she was not able to work so she honed in on her baking skills. She tried out new recipes and shared her treats with family and friends. Before she knew it, her small hobby had turned into a business with people requesting baked goods from all over the Bay Area and even requests from out of state!

Having had a kidney transplant, she strives to "give back" by donating a portion of her sales to charity such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma society and Donate Life, California.

When she's not in the kitchen, you will find her spending time with her family and friends, donating her time to charity work, traveling to and from Hawaii, running half marathons, or participating in triathlons, and diving. Her passion still is in the kitchen, teaching little hands how to bake. Most days you can find her diligently working on developing new recipes or creating beautiful and delicious treats.
